Grievance activity on the part of two plaintiffs increased substantially after filing of charges with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. This chart emphasized that the many-year pattern of grievances and discipline incidents alleged in plaintiffs’ testimony was not borne out by the records. Rather, their 20+ years of work history were free of grievances until 2006, and the grievances intensified dramatically only after the EEOC filing.
